Professor Voigt is a Research and Writing Associate Professor and the Director of the Legal Writing Program at Faulkner University’s Jones School of Law. He has developed CLE courses and CALI lessons on research and writing skills. He has authored the popular book Legal Research Demystified: A Step-by-Step Approach. The new third edition includes a chapter on using generative AI for legal research.
Professor Voigt graduated with a B.A. in Economics with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2000) and then graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University Maurer School of Law (2003). Upon graduation, Professor Voigt litigated complex matters at Faruki+ in Ohio. In 2010, he joined the faculty at his current law school.
