Marye Isaacs Phillips started her compliance career at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, where she supported the regulation development and implementation of the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit Program, including compliance and audit guides. Today she is a health insurance compliance consultant supporting the federal government with oversight of the Medicare Part D and PACE programs. She has developed audit materials and conducted compliance audits of insurers and web-brokers participating in the Marketplaces. Her areas of focus and expertise include health insurance oversight, auditing, regulatory compliance, and policy analysis. Phillips earned a JD with a Health Law Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, a graduate certificate in gerontology from the University of Pittsburgh Center for Social & Urban Research, and a BS in Journalism from the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University.
