Linda Ruse is a business and litigation attorney with extensive experience as legal counsel for a major insurance company.
She has provided legal advice to leaders on tort, contract, and compliance issues and supervised hundreds of litigation suits and has trained associates on bad faith, privacy, and insurance laws. She has participated in court mediations and has acted as a panelist for a large insurance arbitration firm.
Ruse is an experienced online instructor in law and business, having taught in business programs at two universities prior to beginning her work at Pitt Law. Courses include The Legal Environment of Business, Business Ethics, and Risk Management/Insurance.
She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and its Women in the Profession section. She serves on the Access to Justice Committee for her local bar association and is President-Elect of its foundation and also volunteers at Community Legal Aid.
Ruse received her Juris Doctor from the University of Akron and earned a Bachelor of Arts from John Carroll University, Magna Cum Laude, with a major in communications.
